All of a sudden I found I was getting a daily pop-up from Backup Duty Lite when I started up my PC. I had not downloaded it, or indeed recently downloaded any other type of security software, it just appeared one day. I never downloaded / paid for it, but I did go to PROGRAMS -> UNINSTALL and installed it. However it STILL POPS UP every time! But the program is no longer in my PROGRAMS list. I'm at my wits' end. It's incredibly frustrating that I cannot get rid of it on my PC, and I really don't have the time or inclination to totally rebuild my PC just because of these scam artists. If anyone has any advice on how I can permanently delete if from my PC I'd be eternally grateful.
