I noticed I was all of the sudden receiving text messages on my phone about a bunch of garbage I didn't care about ( i.e. entertainment and gossip news). I sent back a text message saying "STOP" then called T-mobile customer service. They submitted a request to refund me but said it would take until the next billing cycle. I am usually very careful about where I enter my phone number online... and I only text numbers I know. The only thing I can think of is that I applied for a job on craigslist.org and more than likely my phone number was sold to the company that way.
For now, I am stuck with this charge until my refund goes through. Those bastards. Plus, Shaboom Media is just about the stupidest name for a company I've ever heard. I would like to punch all of them in the face.
