I have been trying to get the strached dinning room table resoled. Macy's spent a man who did not work for Macy, but was subconcracted by Macy's.He said that the damage could not be fixed.This was after Christmas.They told me that Macy's could not get another sideboard. So we accept it. Over several months, Macy's would put us off. I found out today that this piece of furiture was made overseas. The sales man did NOT tell where it was made. They brought the second replacement table today. I talked to customer service person today. She said she would look into the problem. I am very UPSET that they don't check their dining rooms before they send it out. The driver said that they were to check over the item before shipment. I have been on the telephone to Macy's several times over several months.One person told me that they would check out this piece of furiture. I have been on the phone several times to Bedding and Furniture in Clearwater, FL. I have a daughter who is a Manger for MACY'S Corporation in Mason, OH. Maybe,SHE can get this problem resolved. I do NOT want to get her involved. I have waited over seven to eight months. Today, they brought a piece that looked worse than the one in our home.A $500,000 HOME should get better service. WE have liked to entertain our friends. Who would have friends,and family to ask that we recieved this item from MACY'S in Alamonte Springs, FL. The saleman first name is Stewart. He did not tell us where it was made overseas. He said it was made in North Carolina. That was another falsehood. I am very unset, and I feel that they need to refund some money for our frustrations,and incovences. And any other thing that would show the distress Macy's has put us .
