I too have been a scam victim of State Acquisition Corporation. In January of 2012 I received a call from a Daniel Donovan saying they would arrange purchase of our Sedona, Arizona property. I asked if this was a "realtor" listing and he said "no" it is a definite sales offer. He said that they are a "third party" that bundles many properties and then sells them once a month to a corporation that invests in properties. He agreed to send me the Agreement and a "Priority Envelope" to return their fee of $1,242. We received it and signed the Agreement with our our check for half ($621) with the understanding that we would pay the other half at Closing. Month after month went by and no word. Then (after filing a Better Business Bureau Complaint in Clearwater) a Mr David Butrus called and said I had been cleared for Closing. He would need the remaining $621 sent to a different address but we could Close. When I asked why they weren't located in Belleair Bluffs any longer and he said that they moved recently into a larger two story building at 3665 E Bay Dr, #204-13, Largo. I immediately sent the check that same day. I contacted him the next week and he had received it. He said we are now ready to do closing with a local Arizona Esgrow Agent and he would do a conference call with both of us on 8/1/12 at 10:30am. We waited all day for his call...no call. I tried calling him and every call went to voicemail. I have done some investigating recently and found that 3665 E Bay Dr, #204 is a UPS Store that has "po boxes". One of their employees said that Box 204 for State Acquisition Corp had been recently closed. The employee said that they would get anywhere from 10-20 Priority Mail Envelopes a day and pick them up daily. I am now pursuing this with the FBI Trade Dept and have filed a "Corporate Fraud" Complaint with them. PS - feel that they get a po box every few months and move around from various locations in the Tampa Bay suburbs and I'm quite sure they don't have a physical office. By the way, I also talked to a Peter Richmond way back in January...he is not returning my voicemails as well.
