I am making this complaint hoping it will keep someone from being scamed as I was. The call that I got said they were with the Grant program. I found out it was from Soteria Mentoring when I talked with my credit card Co.to stop payment on 8-31-11. after finding out that I had been scamed for $5000.00 that was not suppose to be "nothing out of my pocket' for a $35,000. grant, possibly $85,00.00 to repair my home. After telling Joe Ferguson ( the person calling) that I did not have money to pay for a loan or fix the house that I was on a very limited income. My husband had told him he wanted nothing to do with him that it wasw a scam.
After phone calls of telling me how he was trying t help me and the money was coming from the goverment that it was money that we had paid for with our taxes . We had a disagreement and he told the person in charge that it had been settled. It had not. I had told him I wanted to cancel ad get my money back on my card.By the way, He had my CC number before he called me I did not give it to him , I did verify that it was correct.
I never saw or heard of the Yozon Contract untill I was told I had signed a contract that it had been e-mailed to me.The morning of August 31 the Welcome girl called and that is when I leaqrned that a Grant was not Guaranteed. Later I noticed that my husbands name had been signed to the contract.But it was not signed as he would have signed it, if he had. I was told I signed it. Which I did not. I had told joe ferguson that the card was my husband's. I had typed my name and address on a blank screen. no writing or contract was seen. This is a very long story about all the lies that were told to me and my card Co. I called Darrick Morgan and told him to have my money back on my card by the next morning or I was going to go to the General Attorney with my story. He told me to call the office and tell them. I did.
the wrot my cc co.saying I stated I wanted to invest in their program and had signed a contract. That I had not said anything about a cancelation nor had I wrote any letters which I still have copies of. I called Yozon and ask if I should have been able to see and read the contract before signing. I was but I did not see or hear about contract. I have not heard anything from Soteria Mentoring since September 2011. They told my CC Company that they had called me with the progress money.I they were woking on my behalf. It will soon be a year since they took my money. Another lie. I think this is fraud, Misrepresention, dishonest,just plain thief.
