To Expedia;

After you charged me an exorbitant fee of a more or less $600 cancellation fee for a flight I booked
-I cancelled by notifying you within seconds after your website defaulted my booking back to another date in the future
-I agree I did not go back into my booking to double check
-You advised me I can’t cancel via e-mail.
-Being in Europe at the time, I failed to secure phone contact with Expedia, but did so within a week as soon as I got back to Australia.
- you indicated then It is not your fault that I pay this fee, but the airline.
-I accepted the explanation, then received your cancellation acknowledgement, just to receive the airline bookings( being done by your company after the cancellation), obviously to allow you to claim the cancellation fees.
- you still haven’t paid the rest of my money back after 4 weeks.
I have repeatedly e-mailed and called in this regard.
Besides this automated replies and usual PR spin, you have been extremely unresponsive and uncooperative.

I just travelled all of Europe – cruises, flights, hotels campervans, and found every company I dealt with professional and cooperative.

Expedia is the only company I found greedy and uncooperative, besides taking my money, your company shows a lack of customer support and care.
I know I will get the usual PR spin to this e-mail, but that’s ok, I’m just commencing the process to report you to customer protection agencies, put my feelings on the web etc.
