I just realized that I have been getting charge $12.97 for the past four months for this "membership" that I never signed up for. When I called the company, they cancelled the membership but refused to refund any of the money, stating I had "knowingly signed up" and it was non-refundable. I DID NOT knowingly sign up for this, which I told the guy on the phone, but he insisted that I did. When I spoke to the billing department for my bank, the woman verified that they could have gotten my information from one of those discount codes you can enter at checkout. So I thought I was getting a discount for being a loyal customer when in reality I was unknowingly giving my information to another company to take advantage of me. I find it absolutely ridiculous that companies like this can get away with this kind of thing and I will make sure to warn EVERYONE I know to beware of scams like this and to never sign up for their services!
