Influx Soft's sales representative charged me $1200.00 to provide me training in SAS software, resume preparation, and for market my resume. She promised me that if I take that training, her company has clients in bay area and she will reserve a job spot for me. So as soon as I finish the training, I will be placed on a job which is related to my training. So, I signed up for training and paid $1200.00. As soon as I finish the learning part of software training, I called them and emailed them for further assistance like resume preparation and premarketing. No reply at all and when I called sales person back, they said "Oh! you have to keep try premarketing department, because they are responsible for market your resume". After finishing the training their people should contact me for resume preparation, but nothing. They just took the money and gave me only one part of the promised service. I wouldn't have paid for the taining if I knew that I won't get the job.
I called them today after a year to try to get my money back and person (name:Sona) said, "No, they can not give my money and they will market my resume." I replied, "It is been a year, how you expect me to remember what I learned a year back. I forgot most of it. Why didn't you did what you suppose to do once I finished the training? How you expect me to remember everything?" Her response was, " We are doing it now." She didn't say sorry or admit that it should have done at that time and it is impossible for me to take a job in a field which I received a training one year ago.
So, I think, this is their trick: don't response after training and after a while once person forgot everything then respond.
Bottom line is they promised a service which had three parts and they took all the money in advance and provided only one part of the service. I wasted two months of my time and hard work to learn the skill. Because person just won't get a job by taking a course( that is the problem in software field) you have to have a network connection so someone will take a chance on you.
Influx soft is promising people that they will sure get a job so they agree to pay for training.
It is a scam. It needs to be stopped. I lost my money and I do not want any other person to lost their hard working money.
