I am secretary/treasurer for a church and on May 22nd I received a call from a person called Edward Terrace saying he was from a verification group and asked me information on our church, that is name of group, address and phone number. Then he spoke so fast that I did not understand half of what he was saying. Then in June when I received the church's phone bill a charge of 49,95 was charged. I did not understand why such a charge was on our phone bill. With many calls I finally knew that is was from TechSOS online with phone number 855-675-8289 that were charging us a fee of 49,95 per month for help with the computer. Our church does not even own a computer so why would I have signed up for help? Like I said, Edward Terrace was speaking so fast. All I understood was he was just verifying our community name, address and phone number and I said yes after each time when he said is that correct. Hope no one else gets caught in this kind of scam.
