On July 13th/ 2012 I ordered 36 ounces of herbs from Herbal-x.com and paid a total of $76.90 using my Visa debit card The order and payment were confirmed by email. The company is in Port Orchard, Wa. a distance of 133 miles from my home in Blaine, Wa.
I had still not recieved the merchandise by July 26 so I emailed them asking for a tracking number. To this date, I still haven't had an answer.
The company operates under various names including Natural Herbs and Supplies, LLC with an address in Pingree, (Irrelevant Information Removed) which is answered by a man who says his name is Jim Allan and claims he is retired.
(Irrelevant Information Removed) Another business -- www.salvia-x.com -- operated from that address but is now closed. When I phoned the Port Orchard number, it was answered by a man who said he would call me back in 20 minutes. He never did and when I tried calling again a half hour later, I got an answering machine.
There are other similar complaints registered on the Web.

I filed this complaint legitimately thinking I had been scammed. It turns out, the whole mess started as a result of my debit card being declined and no one - neither Herbal-x or my bank notified me of the transaction error. None of communications to Herbal-x were answered so I eventaully applied to my bank for a "chargeback", when they informed me that Herbal-x had never taken any money from my account.
I have since talked with Herbal-x and we both admit to a bit of culpability in the situation. Sorry, Herbal-x!
