Tue, Jul 24, 2012 12:24 PM was when I recvd confirmation of trial membership.
This falls under Affiliate Scams which unfortunately I believe include the Affiliate.
Any job listing for PKP Property Management is a scam to get you to enroll for a trial offer for of all things an identity theft company called Privacyguard webaddress http://www.privacyguard.com.
I reported the misleading ruse to this company and wanted to provide them with the information for investigative purposes and they weren't the least bit concerned. I kept getting handed up to supervisors through the chain until I was placed in the OOP's voicemail and still two days later have not been called back. They did immediately cancel the membership for me but didn't care beyond that.
It all started when I answered this job ad under Boisecraigslist.com Jobs/General Labor/PostingID: 3156988452 Condo Upkeep Personnel (Boise).
I went to the website indicated and it looked legitimate enough. I filled in my emailaddress and typed in the code provided and was taken to an application of sorts. It started with profiling questions then went to a section that requires you to be willing to provide a credit report with the reason that the company will be issuing you a company credit card as part of the job. Here is where the form will not let you continue to the end without selecting the option to use the credit reporting and id theft prevention company which is supposes to be free for PKP Property Management, LLC job applicants, but it still cost $1.00 to enroll in a trial offer for the company. On the so called job application for PKP Property Management there are two check(bullet) boxes that you have to acknowledge in order to get to the end of the process to complete the application. The first takes you to the Privacy Guard website and the second is to acknowledge that you have your credit report. As “Darcy” indicated in the email I replied to “her” stating that I followed the instructions and also had my credit report in hand. When I didn’t get an acknowledgement back that afternoon nor anytime the next day, I sent another reply just to make sure. It was until I went back to Craigslist to see if the job add was still running that I noticed before continuing to the jobs listing about the Affiliate Scam alerts and realized that I had been scammed into subscribing to Privacy Guard. That is when I called their customer service number and the handoff process began. I have still not heard from the office of the president for Privacy Guard and still have not heard from Darcy. The fact that this is supposed to be a company that protects its subscribers and a concerned accidental subscriber is asking them to investigate a possible identity theft which I believe has been perpetrated by Privacy Guard because they now have my ssn and my personal address and as far as I know a profile sterotype on me that may be getting sold because I can't help but feel that they have purposely allowed this to happen in order to get unsuspecting individuals to sign up for their services. It will take a lot for them to convince me otherwise. I feel they need to reach out to all of their subscribers proactively and ask if they were directed into signing up with them the way I was and offer to compensate for being mislead. This is grounds for a class action law suit. Privacy Guard also needs to post a message on their subscription page warning the unsuspecting that if they arrived at their sight being told that they must subscribe to complete a form, application, offer, etc. that they have just been scammed and should report the perpetrators to Privacy Guard to be genuinely investigated and hopefully prosecuted!

Update: 07/31/2012

I have finally been contacted by Privacy Guard, The Office of the President at around 11:00am MST. The representative was very congenial and apologetic. She empahtically assured me that Privacy Guard is a very legitimate company.

Update: 07/31/2012

I ended the call and was able to proceed with presenting the information to the Privacy Guard Complaint Dept. I feel that Privacy Guard has shown clearly that they were not aware nor part of the affiliate scam.
