I was view my computer about ten pm, then all of a sudden this fbi page pops up and says I have to pay$200 plus a fee of $4.95 within 72 hrs to unlock my computer. It states to go to one of these stores and a moneyPak for $200. With it you will get a code, input the code, within one to FOURTY eight hrs. Your comp. Will be unlocked. What can I do to unlock/remove this....bug?

  • I had the same prob. turn computer off and disconnect the internet. That "FBI" screen won't pop up. Get onto your desktop and run a virus scan. If your virus protection isn't updated then open another user on your computer. The bogus screen only affects the user who was on when it was infected. You can then reconnect your internet to update your virus protection under the other user. It worked for me. Also google "[email protected]" on another computer if this doesn't work for other solutions which I saw.
