This outfit alledgely would get you a laptop that works like a rental store buyt saves you money. First I ordered one and it was suppose to come on Monday by UPS which I stayed home for. There was supose to be a missing part on address so in return they was going to try to deliver the next day. wHICH i STAYED HOME FOR AGAIN this time the driver said couldn't reach me which I was home all day and evening. They said they would try again but I could not stay home anymore. I already had paid 147.00 for the first payment but no merchandise. Then another 157.00 dollars was taken out of my account and still no product. I told UPS I coul not stay home any more for signature and to take it back. I contacted the out fit and told them I expected refund especially when I dont have anything for it.Now they are telling me I have to wait 7-10 days to get my money back but they take it in a matter of minutes plus minus cancellation fees which I wasn't the one who canceled the order it was their delivery service who did it. No body tried to contact me to straighten out the mess. They said it is at the reveiw board for refund what kind of scam they are pulling. This seems like a money laundry scam or something which the attorney general should be notified. I would expect my refund imediately they sure will tack on late charges if you would be late. I am so tired of these scam outfits and they should be shut down.

    Saw your complaint about WhyNot but I can tell you that it is not them. I know cause they do not ship merchandise at all. They only help help people purchase the products they want/need by extending leasing options to them. Whoever sold you the merchandise is really at fault here. I used WhyNot and had a great experience with them, got my merchandise a bit late like you but they were definitely the cheapest option for me at the time. In regards to making two payments prior to receiving the merchandise, I imagine WhyNot never eve knew that you did not receive your computer and they deducted the funds from your account. Again, I ran into a similar challenge but it was the store's fault not WhyNot's. I called them and explained to them I had yet to receive my merchandise and they worked with me to get me back on track and even called the store on my behalf. I would recommend you try them again and be sure the store you shop at has the merchandise in stock. The person I worked with at WhyNotLeaseIt was named Martin, he was very professional and engaged with the store and I got my merchandise. And for the record.... I own it now for a lot less than I would have paid if I went to a rent a store type place.
