In mid June 2012 we signed up with
"Orange E Service"...an online company that is suppose to oversee your computer online. We ended up paying $500 for two computers for two years.(Way too much money.)

We were not given much information on how the system works.A week or two later, we started receiving many phone calls from someone representing 'Orange E Service' stating that we had to pay an extra $200 or so because our computer was about to ..crash..and/or our financial information was being compromised.
We repeatedly told them that we already paid a lot of money to them to get the computers fixed.

We kept saying 'NO' to them until one day...when they called up and said that because we had been harassed so much that they were willing to refund our $500. All we had to do was send them $250. Everything seemed to have to be in hurry. Anyway, I gave them permission to utilize my computer and I saw with my own eyes how they got into PayPal and made it look like they were sending me my $500. I even printed it out..twice.

They tried to use Western Union for me to pay them...but it wouldnt go through. So..I went to a local market and sent them $250 through Western Union. I never did receive my $500.

The next day...I received an email from 'Orange E Service'..stating that recently some customers had been complaining about how they had been receiving harassing phone calls from Orange E Services demanding money for computer repairs. It further stated that the ..scam artists...would use PayPal or Western Union.

When I read that email...I immediately called Orange E Service up and told them what had happened to me.

They apologized...but were not willing to refund our $500 or the $250 the scam artists got.

I now must change all my passwords...banking account numbers...etc. For a company that is suppose to protect customers, I wasnt given any directions or positive information as to what to do next. It is only right that 'Orange E Service" step up to the plate and do the right thing and refund ALL our money.

  • Yep I got a chance to talk to these folks when my mother was not thinking and accepted their service putting her out a couple hundred dollars. They called saying that he was from microsoft and that their had been a few problems with windows getting viruses and what not. For starters microsoft does not contact people like that. I was watching him work on her computer and canceled something he was downloading which was responded with a phone call now that I have a chance to talk to him he was extremely rude I am a computer nerd by heart so I had a good idea of what all was going on. I was done when they told us we had to upgrade to windows 7 which would cost another 200. I told them that we did not want their service and to stop what he was doing which he did not so I asked for a number to contact customer service and was given a number that did not work. After doing some looking I found an email my mother got from them with Orange e services logo on it and got in touch with the manager that was on duty of whom was nice and all but alas no refund my mother still gets phone calls months later from them. She was telling me of an email she got from them about aggressive sales and how their has been some employees making sales phone calls of which they don't do. It seems like legal actions could be taken but I am not sure on all the technical stuff that would go into it so I am not sure on that. Either way this company is just one big scam worse then any cell phone contract I have ever seen. Keep hounding them and keep asking to speak with someone that is above the person you are speaking to What they are doing is wrong on so many levels

  • I am so glad to see that word is getting out on this scam company Orange e-Services,orangeeservices.com. I had buyer's remorse the day after this company called me 6/19/12. After several e-mails and phone calls, Orange e-Services sent me an e-mail confirming that they would issue a refund (within 3 to 5 working days!)of my $249 that had been charged to my credit card. But then no refund showed up on my credit card and Orange e-Services called again with convoluted methods of trying to get me to pay them MORE money so that they could then process the refund! I can't believe that I kept falling for their scam! I am hoping that my credit card company will give me a refund according to their policy, but nothing has happened yet. Orange e-Services last called me 9/15/12 and "Ralph" said we are losing our $249 AND our computer if we didn't cooperate with him! Scam, Fraud, AND Extortion! When I first tried to protect myself from possible damage to my computer, I called Microsoft to report my problem and they hadn't heard anything about Orange e-Services. I checked Google, snopes.com, and local police dept but couldn't find any complaint trail back in June. So, again, I am very happy to see the word out on them now. Microsoft suggested that I report my complaint to the Federal Trade Commission. I didn't do it originally, but I will be doing it now.
