I received a message from a foreign woman stating that a lawsuit was filed against me for an unpaid payday loan from Cash Advance. Further, I spoke with someone named, "James" and he stated that I had charges filed against me and there was a warrant for my arrest. He stated that I could pay the loan in the amount of $585 and the matter would be resolved. In addition to the payoff on the loan, I would need to pay an additional $700 to remove a blackmark on my credit and social security. I further spoke with Mike Carter and when I asked questions, he became very rude. He stated that that I would be receiving papers from the court in California and I was wasting his time about asking questions. He hung up on me. Beware, this is a scam!!!
