This company phoned this morning. As I am not tech aware and caller appeared genuine I did all that I was asked to make my computer safe, including giving caller access to computer and giving visa number. A friend told me afterwards that she thought that this was a scam and, having checked, fear that she is right. I have put a stop on my visa card and they will issue a new one to me. Not sure what else to do to rectify situation.
