Date should read6/7/12? I partook in the penny auction not realising this is a total scam!
I bid and 'won' a camera. This did not arrive, only when I received my bank statement did I realise how I had been tricked. Ziinga.com had taken my cash of the bid, but eight days later a further £55 with no explanation as to why. Their information emails assured me they are within their rights to do so. I have put the brake on further payments being taken from my a/c. Ziinga have now ceased to correspond or deal with this scam, telling me by em that a cancellation fee was payable, and the camera I had won would not be forthcoming as I had stopped the account. Now in my eighties, this trickery is not always made aware. Let's face it how many of us when making a purchase study that companies 'terms and conditions', I should have done! I'm 60 quid out of pocket, and no camera.
