Seven months ago we contacted the Mortgage Law Group to help us with a loan Modification with Wells Fargo. After seven months , we realized that this company is a total scam ; never had clear answers from the negotiator Maria Moreta, she was rude and unprofessional . Every time we tried to contact someone to get a straight answer this people kept giving us inaccurate information. After seven months and tired to pay money to this company, my husband contacted Wells Fargo to find out that even though documents were sent to them by the Law firm, it was never a request to open a loan modification case. According to Wells Fargo , this request needed to be made by the homeowner. This information was never shared with us by the Mortgage Law Group. We have filed a formal complaint against this company with the state attorney office and if is necessary I will go to the media to uncover this company's unlawful practices. My husband and I decided to work directly with WF and we are hoping to get our money back.
