I put a table on sale on Craigslist.com and found what I thought was a buyer. We were using PayPal for the transaction and somewhere in the mix the buyer developed faux emails from paypal and sent emails from "paypal" telling us that we needed to western union money to the paypal pickup agent and we would be refunded at the end of the transaction. Finally got a hold of PayPal and was told that no such transaction was needed and the number from the buyer was faux too.
