On 12/30/2009, I purchased a Ford, Taurus from South Shore Auto Sales in Amityville, NY. At the time of the purchase I gave the person all the information necessary to secure the deal and paid for the registration of the vehicle. Once the transcaction was completed, I was able to take possession of the vehicle. After having the vehicle for a few days, I became barraged with phonecalls from the dealership saying that they had sold the wrong vehicle and that something was wrong with the paperwork. I referred the matter to my attorney, however the harrassing phonecalls did not stop. I received another call informing me that I had to pay additional insurance and additional monies in order to get the car registered. I complied with their requests and again, I refererred them to my attorney.
On January 25, 2010 without there being any outstandind payments being owed on the vehicle, South Shore Auto Sales repossessed the vehicle and the peronal possessions that were in the vehicle. To date, they have not returned the funds that were paid on the vehicle, nor have they returned the belongings that were included. My Attorney and I have made several requests to have the items and funds returned, however, the efforts have been futile.Please assist.
