I happened to view my online bank account this afternoon ans noticed a $24.95 charge posted. I viewed the transaction to see if i gave details as to where I might have purchased something for that amount. The transaction stated 'SEM homeplay'. There was a reference number, a date of the initial transaction and the amount. I recalled seeing a similar transaction online for this same amount, through the same company,a few months back. At that time I called the 800 number, the lady I spoke with ran through some magazine, coupon type services that they offered, in which I stated I belonged to none of. She statesd she would refund my money (by check, in mail) which I never recieved (which I also just realized). She stated that I would be taken out of the system, therefore, no longer charged. After noticing this most recent transaction, I tried to call the 800 number, the recording stated they were closed. They gave a website to go to for questions or complaints. It was www.programstop,com. At the top of the website it stated that there has been over 1 billion dollars taken and it was fraud. I immediately called my bank. Theytold me what I needed to do and a claim is being filed. I am going to review all of my past bank statement from this year and plan to get all of my money back. I am very angry that my account was hijacked and I intend to assist in any way to catch the culprits.
