This popup kept appearing on my computer and I thought it might be a new name for security software I already have. It wanted me to 'upgrade' to backup files. At first I ignored it as I was busy doing several jobs but today ,having a bit of free time I started investigating online and it appears several other people have had a problem with it. Fortunately I was able to uninstall it (cross fingers that remains the situation)
The odd thing is that the date of installation coincides with the date I downloaded a programme called Regware, as I was unable to open some files from another computer. I paid about $45.00 for Regware and it did not work. I think, as someone else has suggested, it may be a scam also. I wonder if it is connected to Backupdutylite? Can anyone else shed light on this? I think I will uninstall Regware as well.
