My wife just recenntly purchased a Yoshi Blue frying pan at Wal Mart for $19.99 I think the price was. She brought it home and I read the instructions about washing and seasoning before cooking your first meal in it. I followed them to a T. The first things I cooked were grilled cheese sandwichs which did cook evenly but the melted chese took a little more elbow grease to get off the pan than just the wipe of a paper towel. Today however I decided to have fried eggs for breakfast so I got out the pan and then noticed we were out of margarine but after watching their video several times i thought they say no oils needed and no stick so I put the pan under a low to medium heat and put 3 eggs into it to cook. Yes, I took them out of their shells. After about 2 minutes of cooking time they looked done so I put the pan over my plate and tyrne it on it's side expecting the eggs to just slide off on to the plate. Was I supprised when they didn't even move a micro inch. If you had glued them in with super glue or it equivilant you couldn't have gatten a better stick job in an "non stick pan." Not only was my breakfast ruined but it took me almost 20 minutes of very hard scrubing with one of those plastic scurb/fake steel wool pads to try and get all of the eggs off the bottom of the pan and then I actually had to use very fine steel wool to get the pan completly clean. For a pan the never need oiling this is a looser folks. Don't worry about teflon causing whatever ills it is supposed to cause. Remember coffee was supposed to kill us all too along with eggs. Save your money and buy something you KNOW works instead of believing what we all should know by now that infomercials don't always tell you all there is to know.
