I bought laptop online on www.majohat.com
Prior to the purchase i had several email contacts. All emails were answered by Bob.
Everything seemed genuine.
My mistake was to pay via bank transfer to a Lloyds bank account because i needed the laptop ASAP. The product was never delivered.
I even contacted Lloyds, The don't care being used as part of a fraud scheme and they have been not helpful at all.

Max, I bought a tv from them and it never arrived. I suspected that it was a bit dodgy from the beginning, but I was hynotised by the low prices! Anyway, they have several bank accounts. It changes everyday. I would suggest that you make a formal police report. You probably won't get your money bank as they are probably untraceable and they use fake information to open their bank accounts. I reported my case and an officer is working on it but I am not holding my breath. In any case, sorry to hear.
If anyone else is reading this, please do not buy from Majohat. Give them a call- they won't pick up the phone. Google their address- the phone number don't match the location. In fact, call their neighbours and they have never heard of them. -

- Oh- and yes- the banks are f****** useless. They want to know nothing of it. As far as they're concerned, it does not matter that their checks when accepting new accounts are less than desireable. They are all the same, as I know for a fact that Majohat has accounts with Barclays etc... and they have been opened all over the country as we have looked into their bsb codes.
