I recently found a charge of $19.99 that has coming out of my checking account every month for the past 13 months. The charge was traced back to Elite Excursions. Apparently 14 months ago I ordered flowers from 1800Flowers and they sent me a reward check for being a loyal customer. Unknown to me was that by cashing the check I was agreeing to a membership in Elite Excursions and would be charged the $19.99 every month and in return I would receive absolutely nothing. Shame on me for not catching it earlier but shame on the companies that put their customers in this position. I will never order flowers from 1800flowers again and I hope by posting this others can be aware of this scam.
