I received a phone call stating that I would be receiving a new Medicare card and needed to verify some details. Among them a request for my bank and account number. Foolishly, I gave them. I worried about it and checked my bank records. On 06/07/12 I was billed for $447.38...the check number was 1102....which on my records was used a year ago for a Macy payment $46.88. I talked to the banker and was told they would 'look into it''.

- I was also scammed by YR Benefits. I did some more searches online and it turns out we're just 2 of many. I'm trying to get a list of people together. Maybe we can all file one large joint complaint somewhere. Also i'm trying to see if this is just an east coast thing or not. I'm from Bridgeport, CT. Where are you from? -Lucinda

- I don't think this is an East Coast thing. My mother is on the West Coast, San Francisco. This happened to her without a phone call, they just got into her account somehow. I spotted the amount and the name of the company and didn't recognize the expense.
