I ordered shoes and was so tickled to get such a good deal. After not receiving a shipping confirmation and sending several emails to the [email protected] and not getting a reply to any of them I filed a claim with PayPal - my method of payment for the shoes. I filed the claim on either Thursday, 6/7/12, or Friday, 6/8/12 telling PayPal I had not received my order. PayPal gives strict instructions on how long the consumer has to file a claim so I got on it. Meanwhile, I get home from work on Friday and lo and behold! there's a small 4 3/4" by 6 3/4" envelope in my mailbox from China and inside is a shower cap - A DAMN FAR CRY FROM THE PAIR OF SHOES I ORDERED! Then on Sunday, 6/10/12 I get and email from PayPal that they have concluded their investigation into my claim writing, "In response to your claim, the seller has provided proof of shipment indicating the item was shipped to you. Because the seller was able to provide proof of shipment, we cannot reverse this transaction or issue a refund." So what that means, I guess, is that I must've been a day or two early making a claim with PayPal, as my shower cap was, as they say, in the mail, and $56.25 short in my account. So now I can't even get thru to let PayPal know what I received. I see someone else also received the shower cap and was reimbursed for 2 pair of shoes. I'm so pissed off I could just scream! So just now as I sit at my desk I went to riosfashionshoes.com site, out of curiosity, to see if PayPal is still on the site as a way to purchase shoes/items. They are! PayPal is still letting a fraudulent site take our money and run!
