We ordered an Intex pool (18'x 52" with sand/saltwater system) from Meijer but sent directly from Intex California (for $201.) During assembly it was obvious one of the 18 horizontal supports was missing, making assembly impossible. We contacted Meijer and after 30 minute hold time also reached Intex (at 2PM West Coast time) to get a quick replacement for this under $9 part. The Intex rep was totally useless and Meijer rep had no luck with them either. There was no senior Intex personnel to talk to. Disgusted, I ordered the part through Intex website Friday afternoon before 3 PM 9 Ca. time) paying 3x for over night delivery. As of Monday noon there is no indication that the part has even been shipped. We plan to withold payment to Meijer and to Intex for the part until this is resolved.
As a Quality System professional, I looked for a website to contact Intex Corporate as I would assume thay would address this situation and take steps to assure it does not happen again. I could not locate any contact information.
