Could not get their truck up the drive so they charged us an additional $150 to carry everything down the driveway to the street. Gave us a delivery date of 6/11 and called Fri 6/8 to say they were on their way and needed to unload Sat.
Demanded cash before they would unload! Person I delt with for the quote agreed deliver the piano to my house and the remainder to a storage unit.
Driver had to be told by dispatch to take the piano to my house. Driver was not an employee but a contract employee from another company. Did not have enough help to unload so they picked up someone from a truck stop to help. Driver stayed in the cab of the truck in air conditioning and left the unload to the two helpers. When they arrived at the storage unit the driver said he could not get the truck into the facility and threatened to take the goods to a warehouse.
After an arguement he finality drove the truck into the facility to unload.
When they tried to take the piano to my house the driver stopped a block away because the trees were scratching his trailer! He saw my front steps and demanded an additional $150 to take the piano into my house. After many conversations to no avail he took the piano off and left it in the middle of the street and drove off. I was out of town and my wife had to endure this alone.
Thankfully my neighbors helped her to get the piano into my garage. I now have
to get it into the house. Long and short of it he tried to shake down my wife down for additional money. Don't use them!!
They would not talk with us during the episode and would not give us a number to call anyone in management. I will be contacting my attorney and the Better Business Bureau of Georgia on Monday. I could not be more dissapointed in a company.
