Someone called me and they said that they were from Microsoft. They had remote access to my computer. I was having some problems with my computer, but evenso I was still sceptical and I went around and around with them for over two hours because I did not trust them. They made my name pop with a number they said that was my computer number. They showed me so called files that were corrupted and they told me that my computer would crash if I did not get a new warranty. They convinced me because they made me think that they had access to my computer and that they were fixing the problem. They gave me numbers to call and they made everything seem like they were really from Microsoft. It was a hard sell but eventually they convinced me. After I got off the phone I felt that I had been had.
I checked the number and some guy answer. The way he answered I new it was a scam.
The phone number they gave me was 1 205 419-8861 and 1 205 419-8615.

I have also gotten many calls from these people. the #1 thing that stood out to me was the quality of the phone connection. If these people worked for Microsoft, then the phone call would have better quality. Second was the heavy accent of the callers, it stood out to me. Last, No body is going to call you and ask for access to your computer and it be legit.
