I was selling a car and received an e-mail from [email protected] telling me she was sending the bank check for $1500 and would be sending someone to pick up the car. I told her i sold the car... I received another e-mail saying the secretary wrote out the check for $3970, to stop payment would be $550 and to keep $300 and send her the remainder of the money. I knew it was a scam right from the start. I have the check for $3970 and all the correspondence which I just forward to the FBI.....unbelievable that people will probably fall for this....
