I was told by a pop-up I had Won a Walmart $1,000 Gift Card. I would receive a basket Friday, 6/8/12, around 1:00 p.m. - and I needed to pay the postage for this free basket. There are two companies involved with this scam. I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY WALMART ALLOWS THIS. Then, I am given "the number" to enter and my name would be placed in a drawing at midnight 6/7/12 for the drawing for $1,000. Meanwhile Neat Rewards and a Travel Coupon Co. is charging me for a fraud membership with them. I had not paid any postage; this was for membership. The man who talked with me had a terrible accent and talked very fast. I told him I was seeing "red flags" go up. Why did I need to pay postage on a "free basket." He assured me the basket would be delivered to me within 24 hours. Asked how it would be shipped and he would not answer and started talking again. Yes, if something seems too good to be true. IT IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION OR CARD, OR SOCIAL SECURITY INFORMATION. CALL YOUR BANK IMMEDIATELY!!
