I called to set up an additional policy on my husband and I with Globe Life Insurance Company. It was to cover either of us in case of an accident @ 100%. When I received the policy it had my husband's name first on it and me as a rider. They had signed my husband's name electronically. Also, in viewing the policy, in the event of an accident I (the spouse) would only receive 60% of the value of the policy. I (the wife) called to set up the policy. Because they signed my husband's name electronically and had him listed first they would not let me cancel. I called on 6/1/12 and told them to cancel the policy but they debited my account on 6/6/12. I was told the monies would not be taken from my account, but it was. The practices are bogus because of me not being told all about this scam of a low price policy. I spoke with several of their customer service people. I was treated like I was a scam artist. Again, they did not explain what the policy was about and they did not let me cancel after I called with an inquiry about the policy.
