I did a search for a military research project I was working on in a safety related field (DA Form 7566 Composite Risk Management Form) and it show Quamm Media Access as the perfect link. I paid for the trial subscription ($4.95) allowing me to download the search program. When I did so after repeated attempts there was no reference to any DA Form 7566 or Composite Risk Management Form, only various files that seemed to be popular media (music and video) files. I figured it was too much an effort to worry about for such a small expense to follow up on. I was not aware that I must have inadvertently agreed to the full subscription in three days. In three days I was billed $69.95, even though I did not actually use the service. When I wrote asking for a refund, their return response indicated I used their search feature and agreed to the terms of the sign-on provision -- you know, probably the one four pages long in the little box where you agree to the terms of download. I have asked them to reconsider their response, but I don't hold out too much hope they will refund the amount paid. An expensive lesson to be paid to read the small writing.
