Was shopping and picked up to pints of blueberries. the sign read "Bluberries buy one get one free". The tiny UPC price code said the blueberries were $2.99 ea.for a pint. The sign said pint of blueberries buy one get one free. I shopped for an hour, I get to the checkout & the blueberries are ringing up as $4.99. that is $2.00 more than the tiny white sticker sign said they were- so, I tell the cashier- she sends the manager over to produce to check. Manager comes back says nope, they are $4.99. I tell her follow me, I'll show you the price sticker I'm referring to, I notice she isn't following me. I continue over there & I figure I'll just take the thing off the stand that says the price & show it to her- I get there & the sticker that HAD said $2.99 ea is now mysteriously gone! So, she either took it off or someone else got blueberries & when they went to check the price while I was shopping they took it off. It is sleazy.#1 I know for a fact the sign was there & yet they all acted stupid. #2 even if there was no sign the sale price was a hiked up price & didn't reflect a real sale in the first place! The bluberries are always $2.99 there for a pint regular price. So, They hiked up the price to $4.99 which means in reality you are NOT getting buy one get one free. These companies should not be able to do this. People who don't keep track of prices wouldn't know that the original price is $2.99 & are therefore scammed out of $2.00 MORE while being told they are saving $2.50- evil and wrong.
