I too received an email from a trusted friend, yes and later found out her email had been hacked. By the way it hacks your email when you open it and takes your contacts too! I called two separate times and they claimed they couldn't find my account either. This company claims to be registered with the better business bureau, they're shameless! A friend of mind did some research the Alyssa Jackson who's signature that's on the letter doesn't even exist! Fortunately I bank with BOA and their claims dept is great and I was able to get my money back.
