My husband and I purchased a home in Orange Park, Florida April 5, 2011. We bought a home warranty from Sensible Home Warraties. The home was inspected. The heating & a/c unit started causing major problems. I called the warranty company the 1st of March. They sent someone from North Florida Heating and Air on March 7, 2012. They told me that I needed to replace the entire unit. I called Sensible Home Warranties. They told me that they would pay up to $1,500.00. I had it replaced by Darnell Heating and Air. I paid $5,753.00. Sensible Home Warranties has not paid a cent, will not return my phone calls. They gave me a list of things I needed to send to them I sent them on March 30, 212. I have evidence of same. Now, they tell me I have to prove the unit was maintained every six months since installation in 1998. I told them tha was impossible. I have only owned the house for one year. They said that was not their problem. They said Lennox, the maker of the original unit recommended to the buyers in 1998 that it be done. Lennox told me those people are scam artists and that that was not true. They emailed a copy of the original papers to me. I emailed them to Simon at Sensible Home Warranties. They haven't contacted me at all.

Reading the reviews re: this company, there is one after the other who have had exactly the same song and dance and no reimbursement. The company is located in Nevada, scamming people across state lines, which makes this a federal offense.
