On May 13, 2011 I sent a check to the Union Law Center in Newport Beach, CA with the understanding that they would help me renegotiate my mortgage with my lender. Sometime around the first of August of 2011 my account, I understand, was sold to the Realty Law Center in Aliso Viejo, CA. This was done without my knowledge and was unknown to me until I was contacted by a processor (no longer employed there) and I was asked for more paper work thaqt they seemed to have lost. In September I contacted the firm and was directed to someone else (Who no longer works there). Eversince then I have been given the run around. I have been told that prople would contact me and they never have. I have called and left messages with no results. Now all I get is an answering machine from which calls are never returned. I assume the Firm has closed down and left town with mine and everyone elses money.
I also checked with my lender and found out that no one has ever contacted them on my behalf to discuss my loan.
I guess I need help in trying to get a refund.

I would like to report that my complaint has been resolved and I have received a full refund of $3495.00 from the California Bar Association thanks for all the help I received from the followers of Scambook . Thanks again to those involved.

- I just came across this site today-by chance. What you've experienced is the same thing that happened to me, with a few exceptions. The reality is-they are a Scam!Once they get the money it's over. They have no intention of obtaining a Modification for you. You need to file a complaint with the California Bar Association against the Attorney (Bruce Weiner), the California Attorney General's Office. Look up HAMP and they will refer you to a Federal site where you can file a complaint there. California has a fund where they can refund any money lost as the result of an Attorney who has a California License and been covicted of fraud. I live in Georgia, and suspect that they've defrauded many more tha the 24 people who have complaints posted here.
