My girlfriend and I were looking for a apartment/condo to rent we found an add on craigslist for a one bed one bath condo that we both fell in love with, we started writing Eloy Beas Jr the "home owner". We filled out the applications and was later sent the lease via email. We both signed them and sent them via snail mail. We each have a copy of the lease. Then we sent him the security deposit including the 40 bucks for the applications. He then said he would send the key which he gave us a tracking number and a website for. After trying to go on it on a computer, it says that it is a fraud rental website. i just want to know if there is any way that I would be able to get my money back. can anyone help??
