Got a letter to participate in a paid Consumer Research Program in my area as a Mystery Shopper. I would be a Consumer Service Evaluator. Was sent a check to pay me, pay for the merchandise that I was to purchase, how much to wire to them and the money to pay for that. Once you completed your task you were to call them and let them know you had completed your job. Had to fax all the things you had done as far as the survey, where you wired the money and to who. Once the money was wired, found out it was wired to the wrong place and they wanted you to wire it to the other person that was on survey instructions. The bank now tells me the check was real but the information on the front was not real. I was told by the bank that I will have to pay this money back that I dont have. Seems that all I have been doing is faxing papers to someone that I can't see or don't know. But says he will make it right with my bank once I sent it to the other address. I can't trust him now and will be stuck paying back money that should have not been sent in the first place and making people that it was a sure thing making good money. Now they want me to do this a second time as the other part of the mystery shopper assignment. All this person was worried about and that was getting the money wired to the right address. I was one person that thought all this was on the up and could make some extra money for my family, but was wrong on all accounts. Something needs to be done with these people. The man I talked to, thinks all this is funny. All I want is for this company to pay my bank and leave me alone.Hope something can be done with them. Don't make people think you are on the up when it comes to things like this. I can get in trouble with the attorneys here and I hope that doesn't happen.
