One and half years ago I received a phone call congratulating me on my new business. I began to trust this person. Her name was Angela. She told me about the company she worked for called Oracle Systems and was I interested in trippling my investment in one year. "Give me your address" and I will post you a brochure on what we do. So I gave her my address and she sent me a glossy brochure with figures and charts. And a week later called me again. I was struggling at the time.
over various situations in me life. love life, job. not feeling great. Angela began to counsel me and made me imagine that one day I could by myself a unit. Each week she rang until I gave her some money and over the weeks she talked me into making her an automatic transfer of $200 per fortnight. I got extra work. Once it was regular we stopped talking and before I knew it. Time was up and membership was achieved at $3,600. Now what happens I asked her. and she said I told you all along that you would have to keep paying towards the wager money, (preferably $1,000) but they would accept as little as $300 then in six months another $3,600. You mean I want be getting anything on the money I have just given you and she said no, that was membership money. Her company was about horse racing. And she said membership gave access too all sorts of research about races, nothing more. She went on to say they she would be emailing me two forms that needed my signature. They wanted my credit card details.

I felt like (Inappropriate Content Removed) and realized that I had been scammed. Each month an invoice would come and the small print said - this money is nonrefundable.

But I still kept dreaming. Maybe I could get enough money so that I could go to Europe. The irony is I gave Angela my air fare. I have a terrible habit of sobotaging my happiness.

Angela said I will be send you forms which you must sign and return, then we can begin wagering for you. That week I had dinner with friends and spoke to my friends husband who enjoyed the odd bet. I have never gambled except two years ago when I put $5 on Melbourne cup triefecta and won $280. Anyway I told him about my investment and he said not that mob in Queensland. Guve them very little.. I became suspicious and hadn't committed to the next phase of the scam. I googled them and there were at least a dozen complaints. Some people invested $12,000 and got back $85 and other $8,000 and got back $3 something.
I knew then, they were definitely a scam and when Angela called the next day. I said to her that I thought she was a scam and that I would not give her another cent and that I wanted my money back. She went onto say that she had told me right from the beginning..I would love to get some back or all
I made a mistake at a vulnerable time in life
