I also received a letter in the mail saying that I was approved to be a secret shopper with a check in the amount of $1,389.30. This has happened to me before so I called Andrew Goldman ( the name on the paper that they tell you to call before you deposit the check). The first time I called he put me on hold with this loud beeping sound for about two minutes, I hung up and called back, this went on three times before I was finally able to talk to Mr. Goldman who tried to assure me that the check was real. I immediately looked up the buisness online that is when I came across scambook.com. I called the bank where the check came from and they told me that I would have to have my bank call them to verify if the check is real, but after reading the complaint that is only a few weeks older then mine I'am convinced and I will be disposing of this check and I suggest anyone who receives one to do the same.
