Date approximate. Same as everybody else...Somebody created a strange document, the likes of which our bank had never seen but still paid on. We initially spoke to someone at the 877 number but when attempting to follow up only get the recording. I'd bet $29.95 showing up on a bank statement doesn't get noticed all the time and so they don't always get caught.

Exactly what my credit union told me: "A lot of people probably don't even notice a charge like this." Also interesting to me that this charge was supposedly for "website access" (so they told me when the phone number still worked...it is now "out of service.") but has anyone else noticed that neither "demibox" nor "alliance network" have websites?
Also interesting to my credit union was the fact that the charge was not a typical ACH charge, but was an actual online check. Makes everything less traceable perhaps?? -
