The school nurse called stating that two metal strips were sticking out of the bottom of my 9-year-old daughter's Skechers Twinkle Toes sneakers and had cut her legs in several places. The nurse removed the strips from the shoes, cleaned and bandaged the cuts and sent the strips home with my daughter. I contacted Skechers to make a complaint, and all they told me was that I would need to contact the store where I purchased the shoes to ask about returns. The store won't accept them - they've been worn for several months, and this is a defective product! It's not the store's fault, it's the company's!
