I own a Ford Windstar Mini Van. The transmission went out and I was advised by my mechanic to purchase a transmission from Stadium Auto Parts. I purchased the transmission on July 29, 2011 my car was in the shop from July 30 - August 10, 2011. At the time of pick-up the mechanic advised me that the part (transmission) was defective. I contacted the Stadium, they sent me to their mechanic for further investigation. Their mechanic confirmed the part was defective. They said they would replace the transmission but I would have to pay for installation. I paid $840.00 for installation of a defective part unknowingly. Why should I pay again for a functioning part when I thought that is what I was getting in the first place.
