Got a job with them through Craigslist.

It's an advertisement for work at home, for General Office Clerk, for a company named Gourmet Supply System.

They say to make a Yahoo Messenger account for means of communication. They sent checks to my home, one for 2,930.25, and one for 2,700.00. They tell you to keep a portion of the check for Sign on bonus, utility funds, and you send the rest of the money to Statesville, North Carolina to Rebecca Howard through Western Union.

They say the funds you send are for office equipment for the job I applied for. They send you a check and ask you to buy accounting software as well.

All conversation is done via Yahoo Messenger, e-mail, and sometime calls on the telephone from the interview.
After you send the money through Western Union, the check does not clear.
The debits/holds and returned checks have been in effect today.
I am out the remainder amount that you sent plus western union charges. Bank of America says I have until Wednesday to fix this, or else I will have trouble banking with anyone else for 5 years. They will also charge me a $35.00 fee for overdraft.
