Complaint 109981 Details

I received a letter from Alliance Prize Agency saying I won 3rd place and $95,000. USD. A check for $2,750. was enclosed as a loan to pay expenses. Told to cash the check and sent a money gram to an address in New York and call them when it was done and they would call me back with a time of delivery of the prize money. I waited several hours and called Jennifer Watson at 1-450-675-1398 to ask why she had not called me back. She said I never talked to her about the money gram and told me several other lies. I called Money gram and the money had already been picked up. Now I'm waiting for a call from my bank saying the check for $2,750. was not honored. I had a bad feeling when they kept wanting things done in cash, but asked if this was a scam and they told me no. I should have check the web site first instead of after I was scamed.
