I did not pay this so no action is needed as far as refunds or anything.
I am just letting people know that these guys are out there.
A.C.A. Recovery, Inc. sent me a letter saying I owe their client $774.95.
I called to see what this was about, they claimed to have a recording of me agreeing to let their client advertize for our Company in 2010, which I never did.
Also never rec. any invoices or calls requesting payment from Local US Pages.
I asked to hear the recording, he said he would get it, I was put on hold and then told they would be getting it from their client in a few days.
They seem to try to keep me on the line trying to talk me into paying now and saving maybe $100.00 on the bal. if I settled it now.
I told the man on the other end of the phone I didn't ok anything of the kind and would not settle a bill I didn't owe.
He was still talking when I hung up.
The letter doesn't even look like a business letter.
