I applied to yes loans for a loan of £5000, to pay for our wedding, honeymoon and a new car, i paid an admin fee of £69.50. A few days later, i recieved a phone call from a company regarding the loan asking for £160 month in advance payment, as the agreed loan was for 60 months at £160 per month. Not really understanding why i had to pay them using a u- voucher, but thinking they know what they are doing, i did ask them over the phone and they gave me a few reasons that i didnt really understand but sounded reasonable enough. Then a few days later, i recieved another phone call asking for £349, as a transfer fee but promising that would be paid back into my account the same day on top of the £5000 loan. As i had just got paid, i thought that would be ok, as i was expecting the money to be paid back straight away. But guess what? No money appeared, altogether i am £570 down on money, have nothing to feed my family on till next months wages and to top it all, have had to cancel our summer holiday! I have a very unhappy family! I phoned yes loans who refused to give me the name of the company they gave my details to. The £160 and the £349 were u-voucher payments, so i have no idea how to trace where the money went, and the £69.50 fee was taken out of my fiancee's bank account. Please help!! Many thanks Gillan Brook
