I looked up that area code and found that it was from one of these cities in California: Cities Within 714 Area Code: Anaheim, Brea, Buena Park, Chino Hills, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Huntington, Beach, Irvine, La Habra, La Mirada, La Palma, Orange, Placentia, Santa Ana, Silverado, Stanton, Tustin, Villa Park, Westminster, Yorba Linda.
I called the phone number 1-714-478-9169 and received a recorded message "The number you have dialed is not a working number."

I went to the “Whois.Net” website and looked up the website http://www.go-rewards-online.com/ that was shown in their text message.

I did not lose any money as I was sure that this was a scam. So first I did an internet search and found that other people were getting a similar message. These people prey on people who are already desperate for money to survive and I have compassion. So I have spent considerable time in looking up and putting this information together. I hope that this will help you to help others.

One thing people should know is that they may be able to block these websites from contacting them on the internet. Go to browser and click on "Tools". "Internet Options" "Restricted sites" and add these sites to that area.
